Installation Process
Watching your yard transform over the course of a few days to a week into a beautiful turf yard will be quite the process. The trasformation goes through a couple phases. In five simple steps, the yard undergoes a massive makeover.
Lets break it down for you.

1. Laying The Foundation & Establishing The Grade
The first order of business is ensuring the yard is weeded well, the dirt is churned up, and the grade or level of the yard is brought to a relative natural flatness.
We'll bring in locally sourced materials of varying soil and dirt bases to get the yard leveled, compacted and ready for the turf to have a solid foundation to lay upon.

2. Screed, Fine Leveling & Weed barrier
Once step one is completed, a screed is conducted. Layering a small layer of sand or other fine soils to buff out the smallers sumps or ripples of dirt left from the course grading of compacting and getting the yard to a generally flat grade.
On top of this, an additional layer of weed barrier may be opted in for install. This can greatly reduce any small chances of weed growth to occur underneath the turf's membrane layer.

3. Turf Application
Now having the yard set with a fine grade and a protective weed barrier, the turf is layed down, pulled, and stretched with carpet kickers and other tools or techniques to get the turf to lay flat and pretty.

4. Finding & Dialing In The Turf's Aesthetic
After the turf is laying just right, the beautification work begins.
A couple major tasks occur like:
staking the turf into the ground, glueing any seams or turf edges together, cutting off edges of turf to match yard edges, angles, trees, large rocks, or other accents.
This step involves ensuring the turf comes to life in the yard.
Sometimes stone or other accents can be added as well. We're turf laborers first, but have the general landscaping skills to add potted plants, stone work, pavers, walls, a small putting green, you name it. This is the part where the yards creative identity comes to life and the turf accent can start to be seen and felt.

5. Sand, Infill & Final Touches
Now that the turf has found its permenent state, the final touches are added. The fibers and turf's membrane will be treated with a fine sand to act as both an ancor and a provide a natural 'squish' feeling to the turfs matting.
Sand and other pet friendly odor killing anitmicrobrial infills are thrown on top of the turf. A special electric turf broom (or regular broom) is used to scatter, mix and layer these infills into the turfs membrane and threading. This final touch also gets the turf fibers to stand up giving that natural grass look to it.
